Still Here by Rowan Blanchard

5.0

This book is a beautiful, honest, and artistic representation of what growing up means, looks like, and feels like. As I turned each page, I could feel myself descending into my own memories of teen-hood: the yearning, the feelings of loss, the emotional drama. I recently saw the film Eighth Grade, and I think that this book is a good accompaniment to it. Rowan Blanchard is wise beyond her years, and I’m looking forward to seeing where her immense creativity and passion leads her.
