The Sea by A.H. Lee
5.0
What a fantastic conclusion to a great series!
The third instalment of The Knight and the Necromancer truly has everything. The love story, as always, is the heart and soul of the book. But this time we're also treated with an extra dosage of thriller and adventure, a masterfully constructed battle sequence that really has you chewing on your nails a bit for the wellbeing of the protagonists, even more amazing character development for the secondary characters, a commentary on society and the power of truth, tolerance and change, a fascinating leopard demon (picking up the Incubus series next) and a very satisfying ending for everyone involved, even the bad guys, even the ghosts. When an author cares about their characters and their readers as clearly as A. H. Lee does, no one gets left behind.
