The Gathering Storm by Robert Jordan, Brandon Sanderson

adventurous challenging

5.0

I can't believe how good this book was. I was so skeptical, but the plot moves forward, Egwene is the baddest b in the whole series, Rand had the probably the best internal conflict since the start of his inner turmoil, Mat's chapters are treated with the respect they deserve. What more could I ask for to be honest. We also have clearly defined themes of duality, choice, loyalty, reunions, grief, fights, all the good good stuf.

I am so pleased with Egwene's growth and the maturity she acquired through the things she had to endure. This books was clearly hers and her chapters were the best ones in a long long time.

Now I am so pumped up for the next one!
