How to Destroy your Husband by Jess Kitching
5.0
I don't know what kind of crack Jess puts in her books but this was just as all-consuming as her debut, The Girl She Was Before.
I don't want to say too much about the plot because it is definitely a book you should go into without knowing much, just know it isn't the basic revenge thriller that it could so easily have been. It has some incredibly clever twists towards the end that I did not see coming.
Cassie, our main girl, is so relatable that towards the end of the book you almost feel like you're her confidant going through this with her and you can't help but be root for her to succeed.
Jess's writing is fast-paced, intelligent and easy to read. I can easily see her books continue to be even better and I can't wait to read whatever she graces us with next.
