I can tell this is well-written, just not really my thing. The stories are incredible metaphors for intergenerational trauma and gendered expectations. Very folkloric, and the setting of Lagos felt real, a good read for spooky season and a good introduction to Black speculative fiction if you're not familiar! I wished the stories were longer, but maybe I'm just not a story collection person!
