In this book I found many simmilarities with The hunger games, X-men and Olympus —it isn't a bad thing! It's just interesting how the author got inspired to write a story with her own twist.

Nova's internal goal is clear since the beginning and she's determined to do whatever it takes to make it come true.

Though it is narrated in third person, it could've been easily narrated in first. It was unnecessary.

I thought the romance was going to be rushed, but turns out it was just a slow-burn almost at the end and I like how it is delivered. It is addictive and fun, a light read of sci-fi and fantasy for everyone.
