This book is about a woman, Jennifer Teege, who happened upon a book in the library with photos of her mother and grandmother in it. She discovered that her maternal grandfather was none other than Amon Goeth, the concentration camp commandant who was cruel and murderous. Her story of discovery was moving and appalling all at the same time. I really enjoyed this book, and I am very grateful to my sister for giving me this book as a gift.
