This is a four-volume manga about a young man who finds a drop-in center for LGBTQ+ people at the exact right time. He’s been outed at school and is thinking about doing something irrevocable, but once he finds himself being supported by this community, he’s distracted enough to go on. There are lots of little stories that weave together, with many various representations, and the setting makes that seem very natural. I definitely cried while reading volume four.

I liked how subtle and nuanced it could be at times. It certainly has some of the over the top reactions/internal monologuing you get with manga, but mostly it was just showing how even well-intentioned people can mess up, and how even people who are trying to understand can't fully get another person, and how sometimes there is no label that fits, and sometimes people surprise you and sometimes you surprise yourself. The 'main' character messes up a lot, but learns and grows.
