If you're looking for a spicy high school, sports romance, then you should add The Boys of Clermont Bay series to your TBR. This is a 6-part series, broken into 3 duets that focus on 3 different couples. Each book is told in 1st person, dual POV (FMC & MMC).

Here's my review specific to The Touch of a Villain —

What I enjoyed:
👉 Holly Renee's writing style is phenomenal, especially the way she writes spice scenes
👉 Dynamic & chemistry between Josie (FMC) & Beck (MMC)
👉 Tropes: bully, enemies-to-lovers, revenge, touch her and 💀
👉 Fast-paced read
👉 Cliffhanger that made me immediately pick up the next book

Where things could have been better / what other readers may struggle with:
👉 There is a TON of miscommunication that felt slightly repetitive
👉 I wish Josie would've been written to hold her ground more
👉 Lack of content warnings (mention of SA of a minor)

As a quick side note — these characters are ages 17/18 and the spice scenes are explicit. You'll likely enjoy this series the most if you're ages 18 to mid 20s (closer to the ages of the characters).
