I think she's getting closer. Even though she's already in the house. Even though she sits next to me on my bed.
Closer. That's the word I think of.
She used to just stand in the closet and stare at me. Then she came out. Then she started talking.
Then she started asking.

Can I go inside your heart Bela?

Holy f!
I was having this ominous spine tingling sensation the entire time reading this, and I keep thinking "Bela, run. Bela, get out from there. Bela OMG DON'T YOU KNOW GET THE F AWAY!"
I think this book is hauntingly scary because the narration was told from a child's POV, so yeah. Creepy as f.

This book scared and creeped the f out of me (the avid horror / ghost movies / stories) last night that I had to stop reading and continue in daylight , so definitely five stars.
