I'm admittedly a Francophile and will pick up almost any book about French lifestyle/fashion/food/etc. This is fun to flip through, but there's not as much tangible takeaway lifestyle advice as what's on offer in the many, MANY, other "how to be French" books on the market. Maybe I would have had more fun if I could have had a glass or two of wine before consuming?
