Stuffed: Adventures of a Restaurant Family by Patricia Volk

Did not finish book. Stopped at 5%.
I was expecting more scenes from the restaurant, food, and how it was growing up with a family restaurant environment. The writing is confusing and reads more like vignettes of anecdotes rather than a cohesive story. It was stories about different family members, giving anecdotes about each-which anyone can write a memoir about, and it failed to show any connection with the restaurant aspect. I didn’t like the writing style or subject due to my expectations so I’m DNFing and will have to look for other memoirs that focus on the running of a family restaurant POV.
