Wow! For such a short read this book sure grab my heart and make me cry! Lily and Micah sure do get thrown a good many curve balls in life. They are thrown tragedy after tragedy but still seem to pick themselves off, stay positive and lean on each other. Lily, at the start of her relationship with Micah, rescues a dog in the ocean, that dog goes on to be with them through all their trials and triumphs. At one point it seems like Micah is ready to give up, but their dog, Caddy, seems to be the glue that holds them together. This book caused me heart ache so many times but, the ending was beautiful and the story captivating, especially in regards to Caddy and what she means to the family.
