I loved that this spent more time with various small gods, and I liked the reveals about the ongoing story. Since I liked the found family aspect of Godkiller, I was slightly disappointed that the characters are separated for much of this one. A lot of it is about war brewing and the rise of the rebellion, but overall I enjoyed it and am intrigued about where it's all heading.
