On Writing: A Memoir of the Craft by Stephen King
4.0
Wish I had read it sooner.
The only how too book I will ever reread.
Get some tab labels and a pencil you are going to want to mark some pages.
I was confused at first as to how the memoir part of this book would teach me how to write but it was a great read.
It also reminded me why I wanted to write in the first place. it is just unfortunate that King tells us that spelling and grammar are pretty much everything. As I am rubbish at both and despite what King says some of us just need editors no matter how much we try.
This would have been 5 star except (for some reason, either age or nationality) I didn't get some of the cultural references in the memoir part of the book.
