Exes and O’s is one of my favorite romance novels, but I have to conclude that the other installments in Amy Lea’s influencer series are just okay. In this final book, The Catch, we follow a lifestyle blogger Melanie as she ends up in a seaside village at the coast of Canada. What follows is quite a traditional city-girl and country-boy romance.

Unfortunately I couldn't help but find Melanie’s social media presence and whole persona a little hollow, though the fakeness of her account is emphasized and justified. The romance itself is cute and enjoyable, my favorite part being the male lead’s family. Just nothing special for me overall. I guess I love influencer romances only when they’re about book influencers.
