2nd time reading this book, it still holds up as my favorite knight brother, and is still a 4 star read !!! I absolutely love Rocco and Julissa - they really didn’t play around and I appreciate them just getting to be. Also didn’t realize just how funny this book was the first time I read it lol bc I was laughing this time around - Rocco’s family is a hoot & Julissa’s mama think she slick 🤣🤣🤣  I’d love to hear this one on audio just to be able to really put together Rocco’s voice but all in all I enjoyed it - heck I enjoyed it even more the 2nd time around. Highly recommend - he’s probably why I like brooding bodyguard romances 🤭

(1st Read - May 6,2023) 4 ⭐️ This book had me giggling. Love the found family aspect and getting to see the characters from the other two books was definitely a plus. I really enjoyed Rocco & Julissa’s interactions & banter. This story is more so about Rocco coming into accepting that he could be loved & is worthy of being loved bc he thought that it wouldn’t happen to him due to his past trauma. Julissa was his opposite in terms of personality but she still respected his boundaries & space, so I really loved that.

I also appreciate the maternal role figures in this book, Mama Di for being overbearing but not suffocating and Theresa for having her daughters back and being accepting of Rocco.

Overall, this was a great addition to the Knight Brothers collection. I enjoyed it
