I think I would have found the story more entertaining if I didn’t know that Lulu and Nana were born this time last year. These twin human girls were a result of the experimental editing of human embryos to create a human being with HIV immunity. Census trends, healthcare predictive analytics, and CRISPR (a genome editing technology) already exist in our lives right now. This story may be more science than science fiction.
