I almost didn't finish this, I truly despised Lachlan, like no redeeming characteristics whatsoever, but everyone else glowing reviews made me stick with it. Lachlan does a complete about-face, and with that, he is pretty great, and their romance is pretty wonderful. You also couldn't ask for a better ending.
