Royal Assassin is Game of Thrones like fantasy court intrigue at its finest - almost 700 pages of it! The set up of the first book comes to fruition beautifully, and Fitz’s character development is strong. The storytelling leans on long, deep conversations, and I think that works very well. I’m so glad I decided to give the series another chance!
