A wonderful book with tons of feels, healing, and love.
This book is slightly different from the previous two. Mainly because most of the chapters are from Gray's POV, which makes the mystery of Mal even more intriguing. There's also tons of smut, but the feelings develop much more slowly.
I loved these two. The mutual possessiveness and care were lovely. I admit one content warning made me a bit wary, but in the end, I wished the scene was longer. I'm a sucker for come play and breeding, so yep, it was amazing.
I was also happy there was a warning about a breakup. I usually hate breakups in books, but I anticipated it, and it was relatively short and only from one character's POV, which was a relief.
I am very quickly falling for S. Rodman, and I'm already planning to read their entire backlist!
Bonus scene : it was short and fun but also a bit sad.
