An excellent hockey/musician romance by Amy Aislin (as expected!).

This is cute, and fun, with enough going on to really make you dig into this story. Emery’s hockey contract is coming due which has him worried about what comes next, and Felix is feeling out of sorts with his music career and where it goes from here. They are both feeling a little restless in their lives.

All the while, these two best friends, who have been in love for a long time, need to decide if they are finally taking that step to be more than friends. When they end up living together it becomes hard to remember why they hadn’t taken the plunge before.

I love all the parts of this story. Both guys are great and their story is beautiful and sweet and uplifting, even as they deal with the turmoil of the world around them and the problem it brings. And watching them grow, not just in their relationship, but within themselves was also a great piece of the story.

Truly a great story, with depth and lightness to balance it out beautifully.
