This book demands an audiobook listen. The posh accent adds so much to the razor-sharp wit and unapologetic attitude of the story. It’s campy, delicious, and just so much fun. You’ll find yourself rooting for Kitty Collins as she takes down every man who earns a spot on her hit list.

Kitty might get labeled as a stereotypical airhead influencer, but she doesn’t waste time proving anyone wrong. Instead, she uses her looks and status to get close to her targets, turning their underestimation into her greatest weapon. Her internal tug-of-war with her darker desires—plus the self-imposed rules she follows—makes her a character you can’t help but cheer for. And the pure cheek of her comebacks? Chef’s kiss. The stalker plotline pops up as a reminder that Kitty isn’t quite alone in her extracurriculars, and the reveal at the end had me gagged. It was not who I guessed at all! Honestly was my favorite part of the whole novel and I can’t wait for the hook for the sequel.

If you’re looking for something with the wit and dark humor of Butcher and Blackbird—just without the spice and overt romance—this one’s a perfect fit. It’s campy, clever, and addictive, with all the bite of a perfect revenge story.
