i think the fact i was very depressed when reading this might have affected my enjoyment of this so will need to re read it
also i just need more gideon but it looks like we’ll be getting that in alecto IF IT EVER GETS PUBLISHED
it was a very different vibe from the other books and while i lovedddd getting to know all the different puzzle pieces and understanding more about the whole world, it wasn’t what i wanted at the moment.
don’t get me wrong, it is absolutely brilliant and i loved the characters sm (like so so much) and i think i would like it better without having to wait god knows how long for the next book. and tbh i didn’t care much about the school stuff with hot sauce etc like it was kinda cute but idk jsut not what i wanted from this book
