This book was fine for me. I’ll read the second because I’m interested but I wasn’t blown away. The writing was good, I was always curious about what would happen next… I’m not sure why I didn’t love this like some other reviewers. It may have been because Cash was so childish and annoying it made his scenes difficult to read? Baker wasn’t great but he was a stay at home father, an good dad, had all his fun friends at the wives club etc. He would get childish with Cash when they argued, but Cash really tried to undermine Baker at every turn, all because of something that happened freshman year of college. Really?

Good beach read tho. Hopefully the second will be better since we’ll find out what happened to Russ.
