I watched the Netflix series before reading this and wonder if I’d have a different rating if I hadn’t done so. While the book differs from the show in a number of ways, the mystery was ultimately lacking (of my own doing). I enjoyed the writing style but the ending felt abrupt. It was also hard not to picture the characters the way they were portrayed in the series. Overall a decent White Lotus-ish read.
