This was my first Lucy Score book, and I absolutely freaking loved it!  The Dead Guy Next Door is a delightful blend of fun plot twists, lightly satisfying spice, murder, and heartwarming romance. I particularly appreciated the fact that the spice was mild, as I’m not usually a fan of it at all, but this was perfect.  The story is a rollercoaster ride of action-packed moments, complemented by a cast of wildly hilarious and endearing characters. The book IS a hefty 460 pages, but damn does it read fast.  You’ll be flying through before you know it, thanks to Score’s engaging storytelling.  This book is so addicting, I was glued to the pages.  Now, I can’t wait to read more about Riley, Nick, and the gang’s adventures in the next book!  After not enjoying my last two reads, this one was a breath of fresh air.  I’m so glad I picked it up, it really got me out of my reading slump.  This is a must read for everyone!  It’s an absolute gem that I’m grateful to have stumbled upon.
