The Goodmans is another Clare Ashton jewel. I truly enjoyed the story from the beginning to the end. The characters, the locations, the plot and plot twists, the unusual POV (three: Jude, Abby and Maggie) storytelling, family drama, flashbacks... everything is pure delight. There's humour, heart-ache, drama. I laughed, cried and wanted to scream out loud. Just like Poppy Jenkins, I want to re-read the book immediately, but I'll wait a few months and let it marinate.
