I did a tandem read of the audiobook and paperback and absolutely loved the narration! The reader did a fantastic job and I was hooked!
Dee and Grasshopper had me constantly laughing and I loved their little found family! The mystery was super compelling and I was so curious about how everything would unfold! I did find the world-building a bit daunting at first and the audiobook really helped me jump right in. Once I recognized the characters and understood the world better, I couldn’t put it down!
If you’re a fan of locked room mysteries, murder mysteries and main characters that don’t take themselves very seriously, but have a heart of gold, I think you’ll like this one. Highly recommend the audiobook version if you’re an audio fan, too. ;)
