Christmas In Love by Karen Thornell

5.0

An adorable and heart-warming Christmas novella, Christmas in Love chronicles the story of Cade and Natalie. Nearly four years after an almost-engagement, Cade and Natalie are thrown back together in the little town of Greenbank. Cade is coming to his parents’ retirement home in Greenbank for Christmas, the same town where Natalie is running a bed-and-breakfast. After unfortunate circumstances finds them spending more and more time together, secrets and hearts are being tugged at..
This was so cute! It is Ms. Thornell’s first book, and begins the series. Both Cade and Natalie have old hurts and feelings still in place. They were both wanting to see each other and at the same time trying to avoid one another. I felt bad for them both! I felt like I could really understand both of their perspectives. Btw it was really cool to see both of their POVs, I liked them both and their voices. I also enjoyed seeing how they helped each other.
Honestly, there really isn’t too much I didn’t like! It was cute and fun, kinda Hallmarky! I enjoy novellas, because they are quick stories that offer up the satisfaction of a book and an intro into the world. This is an intro novella and perfect for Christmas, it is a clean romance with an HEA!

I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book which I received from the author. All views expressed are only my honest opinion, I was not required to write a positive review.
