The Supremes at Earl's All-You-Can-Eat by Edward Kelsey Moore
5.0
Did I borrow this book from the library because I heard they were going to make it a movie? Yes. Did I love it anyway? Also yes.
I can't quite put into words how much I love this book. The style, the storytelling, the characters, all of it was just a treat. Between laughs and gasps, I couldn't turn the audiobook off. This book stresses the importance of female friendships while navigating life on life's terms.
This book flashes back to the mid/end 1960's to the present (which I think is around 2005-2006 for the book?), and I found it easy to follow on the audiobook. I liked seeing the dynamics and character progress.
Can't wait for the adaptation!
