3.75 stars. This was such a pretty book. The writing is lush and lovely. The author plays with lots of really nice ideas throughout. I'd say half of the book worked for me. The first and last sections were wonderful. Swarup captured their relationships beautifully. I was less interested in and drawn to the characters in the middle two sections. Overall, there's a lot to love here, and I look forward to seeing what Swarup is able to do next!
