Always Only You by Chloe Liese

Bergman siblings book 2 features Ren, one of Ryder's older brothers and NHL player for the LA team. He is secretly pining, and has been for a while now, for his team's social media manager Frankie, a tough as nails lady who is likely to use her cane as a magic wand to curse you should the need arise. What Ren doesn't know is that he drives Frankie wild too, at first because she is certain there has to be more to him than his always smiley good guy self, and then because of the more she discovers. Again, a great love story with some different tropes utilized wonderfully and excellent disability rep (Frankie has rheumatoid arthritis and autism). I loved Frankie's sarcasm and sass and the way the two were drawn together! So good!

Reread: This is definitely one of the two that go back and forth for fave Bergman book. Ren is a ginger god among men while not being too perfect or one note. Frankie is relatable for me as far as chronic pain goes. Love it.

Reread 2025: I love this book so much. It's the one I've read the most (I think this was my 5th reread), and one of my two faves in the series. I said this another time I read it but Ren really is a nerdy ginger god among men without being too perfect or one note. The way he loves her is beautiful, and the way she fights it until near the end (it's spicy before then, but you know, 3rd act breaks and such), makes absolute sense to me. We also get the first unofficial Bergman Brother Summit in this one. Frankie is definitely my favorite character in the entire series because of how much I relate to her, both her chronic pain and her neurodivergent traits. Loved it!
