As always, this was a thrilling intense read with the high stakes, tension, and angst of the characters. The twists and turns throughout the whole book made me on the edge of my seat with anticipation of what was going to happen next. 

So many mixed emotions that this book made me feel such as sadness, curiosity, unease, and exasperation with the circumstances that both the main characters, Jack and Evangeline had stumbled upon. The realization in the end nearly killed me of how everything turned out.
