i liked a lot of this, particularly posy and her love for romance novels and how hard she tries to make sure her baby brother is loved and taken care of , but sebastian was insufferable for about 95% of the time and it really dragged down what was a book i was genuinely enjoying. like he wasn't charming! which i think he was supposed to come across as but instead he was just annoying and obnoxious. and i kept wishing either the book wouldn't go there at all romance-wise or the book could at least provide him with some hidden depths and we do get it a little but not nearly enough in my opinion and the most we do get happens near the end which at that point it's a bit too litte too late to get me to fully care about the romance.
