3.5⭐️rounded up. The first 25% is the best part of the book. I was in love with it at the start. It ends up being incredibly repetitive with an overused and dated trope in the end. I still enjoyed it and there definitely are some creepy scenes. Too bad the whole book did live up to the beginning.
