Crow Country by Mark Cocker

informative reflective slow-paced

3.5

More autobiography than popular science, as Mark Cocker expounds on a life spent watching rooks in Norfolk. I liked the poetic depiction of the British countryside. As a British person, it lent a magic to my home nation that it is easy for life long residents to lose with of. But the book is less about rooks than it is about the experience of studying them, which isn't really what I wanted.
