"R for rough" is a standalone lgbt romance set in the Camassia Cove universe. We follow two chefs, Griffin and Tracy. They used to work together at the same restaurant but didn't get along. When Griffin returns to Camassia him and Tracy have to work together again.
I really liked that the first thing they did was talk and clear the air between them. I love a book with good communication.
And it was a brilliant book. I finished it in one sitting. The pacing was fantastic, I couldn't put it down.
The chemistry between Griffin and Tracy was off the charts. Absolutely explosive. Their dynamic was delicious and I had a blast reading their story, seeing them fall in love and explore their desires.
A big part of the book was dedicated to a game they played with a group of friends and it was so much fun and intense, I enjoyed every minute. And I love love loved all the cameos. It was so good to see Abel, Angel and Kit again (you don't need to read other books to enjoy this one and I promise you won't feel lost, all you need to know about the characters that appear and have their own books is explained).
Another favourite book by the author. I already want to reread it.
