2.5 if you think of it as book 2 of a series. 3 or 3.5 stars if you think of it as part 2 of the first book (Black Sun.)  I didn't feel like a lot of "plot" actually ended up happening. Mostly world building and establishing The Conflict (the return of the Crow God). I'm waiting for book 3!
