The Minor Adjustment Beauty Salon by Alexander McCall Smith
5.0
Such a nice comfort series. It's always good to slip back into the world of Precious Ramotswe and watch the characters moving on with their lives yet still being in many ways the same. One of the things I love in here is that the characters and their relationships are always growing like you'd expect with real people, rather than staying stagnant and the expected like too many long-running series.
The mysteries presented in here have Mma Ramotswe and Mma Makutsi both juggling questions of morality. Despite Mma Makutsi being on maternity leave for a big portion of this, the two find plenty of time to work together, and by the end their relationship is really showing a lot of growth. Loved this!
