Miscommunication through listening to the other MC having a phone call is a huge pet peeve of mine in romance novels. Despite this, I continued reading. The reason behind the bet makes zero sense, so I DNFed. Also, the blurb and the title are misleading: the "straight" MC wanted to hook up with the other MC, even before the marriage.
