I like this one less than Garden Spells, mainly because of the chapters from Russell Zahler. They just felt so unnecessary? Especially since the con he pulls feels so anticlimactic. I love Bay and Mariah and who they grow into as they've gotten older, but Sidney & Claire felt less interesting than in the previous book. Overall, still one I love to revisit and recommend. And it never fails to make me want to cook up the recipes mentioned in the book!
