Make Me Yours by Melanie Harlow
5.0
I needed this. I needed this type of “old fashion” romance. The fact that Cheyenne was in love with Cole since she was a child pulls at my heartstrings. Cole, the absolute most devoted dad after the loss of his wife in child birth is commendable.
I liked the fact that Cheyenne “could read him like a book” and knew all the ins and outs of him.
The text message that started all of this is somewhat relatable. I don’t know a single person who hasn’t sent a text message, risky or not, that wasn’t meant to be sent. An accident. Now, do all miss texted text message endings turn out with a fiancé, and a new home? Not really, but this story was so sweet.
A true page turner to “the boy next door”/“the girl next door”. I couldn’t put this one down.
Now I have to go backwards and read Blair and Griffin since I accidentally started on book 2.
