Gyo by Junji Ito
2.0
Where Uzumaki was incredible, Gyo falls flat. The story and characters are flat, and the plot is pedestrian. The Horror elements are strange, and at times gross, but there's little variation and so the shock factor isn't there after the first 100 pages. As such the middle and end are just a bit of a drag, with the same imagery over, and over again.
Will I still read Tomie? Probably.
