What You Are Looking For Is in the Library by Michiko Aoyama

4.0

First December read which is a carry-over from my November TBR and this is a translated fiction debut from Michiko Aoyama.

This definitely has the Japanese litfic vibe but I felt that the overall impact was a bit lackluster compared to other translated books I read from Japanese authors.

I still enjoyed it since the premise revolves around a recurring main character who is a librarian but the storyline followed five different individuals so the divided exposure made me feel less attached to the characters.
