Icebreaker by Hannah Grace
5.0
Normally when I read romance (re: spicy) books, there are a number of things that I can point out and make fun of in the review. This book is the expectation.
If nothing else, I can point out how weird it was that everyone in the hockey house was aware when and if people were sex and then hazed each other about. I did go to a catholic college so what do I know about sex positive college students.
This book felt like 2 books in one. I feel like it could have been a series with the different plot points but I am so happy I didn't have to wait for the conclusion. What I loved most about this book is that there wasn't the trope of "there was a misunderstanding and they jumped to conclusions". MCs were open and honest with each other and had real discussions. It was so refreshing.
TW: Toxic relationships, manipulation, slut shaming, toxic relationships with food
