Storting this book i was not intirely sure if this was a duologie or a second book in the series. Conclution i think this is a duologie because i am very satisfied with the ending of this book.

The first book on first look is a book about a quest, for a living, a prestegious job, studie wealth.

However it turns out to be a discovery about how they are, survival and strangth. Along the way we find love friends and danger.

Book two starts with another quest this time to fix whatever went wrong in the last 80 pages of book one 😀

This quest brings us to new towns and places looking for a mythical island wich is the place of the mistory fountain of youth.

This book was intricate, it set up a travel goal that constantly changed. We met interresting people and learned a lot about our main caracters along the way. I did mis the sweetness of the love interrest. Although the support he gave our main girl was still sweet the situation did not give a lot of room for the sweet innocent moments we had in book 1.

The buildup of this book was again slow an steady, setting up the politics, the magic systeme, the lore of the history. There were some surprises along the way that made me go. .  Was this always the plan... ore is this a twist to arrive at the ending 😜

Giving up everthing she wanted when her first quest started to save all was hartbreaking but an wonderfully satisfiying ending.
