4.0
Amanda Travis has spent her life running from commitment, family ties and facing her past. She moves to Florida to be far away from her mother and her first ex-husband. One day the phone rings and it is Ben her ex, telling her to come home to Tornoto because her mother just shot a man in cold blood. After making it very clear, she has no intentions of coming home, she is on a plane to Canada. Once there, her mother is cold and aloof, refusing to answering any questions about the man she killed. Amanda is quite stubborn refuses to leave until she learns the truth. And the truth comes out and there are more twists than a corkscrew. This book could be a 5 except when she is hunting the answers she needs, there is no use of the internet. The book was writtne in 2005, and some of the things she needed to find, could of been found using google.
