No mocking. I used to be a huge fun of Garwood and her romances. I haven't read this in years and I still enjoyed reading it again. Although I admit the heroine grated on my nerves a bit more at 43 than she did when I was much younger. It's also a fairly quick, mindless read and perfect for when you're sick.
