Two Tribes by Fearne Hill

This was an emotional story that starts when they are teens and spans decades.

Matt and Alex first meet in high school.

Matt is snarky, and his walls have walls. He’s extremely smart, but his homelife is pretty terrible. The only thing that makes it better is his fiercely loyal best friends. With a fantastic sense of music and a quirky love language, he makes you want to wrap up him in a hug.

Alex is adorably middle-class and clean-cut. His openness and sweet nature are the perfect counter to Matt’s walls and while both are in the closet, they quickly fall for each other and become fast friends/boyfriends.

However, after high school ends, both their lives take a turn, which leads them on an emotional journey, complete with highs and lows, but ultimately has a beautiful ending.

I love a story that covers a lifetime and these two were lovely and had a super sweet ending.
